A brief history
A third-generation family farm turned award-winning winery, Deerfoot sits on land the Brown family has worked since 1947. Winemaker Dan Brown and opened the winery in 2014 and have since earned 110+ medals across a broad portfolio of estate grape wines, fruit wines, and meads.
Tastings are $5 and typically include up to 15 wines from a rotating selection and in summer, the farm opens for pick-your-own blueberries. A second tasting room, Deerfoot Downtown, operates at 348 N. Queen Street in Lancaster.
